Crispy and tender, these quick vegetarian chickpea meatballs are a delicious and lightened-up version of the real thing.

  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 3 garlic cloves, halved
